Ready to measure.
Measure the loudspeaker on axis at 0°, then turn it in 10° steps while keeping the microphone position, distance and playback volume unchanged. The tool stores up to 19 measurements, from 0° to 180°. An angle label records the measurement order; it does not sense physical rotation.
Measure plays your original 262,144-sample, 48 kHz sweep from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The microphone is analyzed in 1,024-sample RMS windows as the sweep plays. The response curves use 1/3 octave power smoothing. Map values use the original 3 dB quantization.
Normalize map to first subtracts the 0° measurement from every map row at each frequency. The first row becomes 0 dB. The response graph continues to show microphone levels, as in the original tool. The normalized map displays −30 to +6 dB; values outside that range use the end colours.
This is an uncalibrated sweep-level comparison, not an impulse-response or gated transfer-function measurement. Values are digital microphone levels in dBFS, not dB SPL. Playback and microphone frequency response, room reflections, noise and device latency affect the result. No automatic latency correction is applied.
The browser is asked to disable echo cancellation, noise suppression and automatic gain. Devices may still apply their own processing. Microphone access is requested when you press Measure, and ends when the sweep stops. Measurements stay in this tab and are not uploaded.
Rotate 180° turns the measuring interface upside down for a phone held with its microphone facing the loudspeaker. It does not change measurement angles.
